To increase clarity about their roles and to better serve students, the two offices of Diversity Development and Intercultural Student Services are are now aligned under one name. The Office of Diversity and Cultural Engagement (DCE) is housed in the new Student Experience Center at the heart of the OSU campus.

The OSU Advocacy Center for Survivors of Violence will provide confidential and accessible services including a full-time advocate whose sole job is to listen and support survivors and to help them navigate available resources, making sure the survivor’s wishes and needs are respected.

The Student Experience Center was built as a central campus location focused on student life and learning outside of the classroom.

Oregon State University’s Lonnie B. Harris Black Cultural Center has a new home, and more than 250 attendees celebrated the grand opening ceremonies on April 15. The center is located at 100 S.W. Memorial Way (corner of Memorial Way and Monroe).

Please join us and the university in doing all we can to counter hateful acts with more vigorous efforts to create and maintain a climate of inclusion, respect and care for all.
