The Office of Equal Opportunity and Access (EOA) at Oregon State University is seeking applicants for a full-time Accommodation Associate position.

The Accommodation Associate provides leadership and management of the university’s employment accommodation functions. The position serves as primary contact for employees with disabilities seeking workplace accommodations, and also employees seeking religious and pregnancy accommodations; this position serves in the same capacity for community members. A key goal for this position is to strengthen proactive trainings and educational opportunities regarding accommodation processes for supervisors and employees.

Additionally, the position works to advance universal design, accessibility, and inclusion in the workplace and broader university community.

Affirmative Action Associate

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Access (EOA) at Oregon State University is seeking applicants for an Affirmative Action Associate position.

The Affirmative Action Associate, supports and advances the affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity commitments of the university.  The range of the work is vast;  the Associate’s work ranges from technical compliance to planning meetings with leadership.

The Affirmative Action Associate:

  • Ensures technical compliance with internal and external policies, practices, and regulations related to equal opportunity and affirmative action
  • works with the Affirmative Action Manager to assemble and deliver the university Affirmative Action Plan to university leaders
  • reviews waivers of the competitive search process for alignment with equal opportunity principles.
  • develops, implements, and assesses recruitment strategies for underserved groups.
  • collaboratively and independently designs and delivers training and educational programs to the campus community

Equity Associate

Equity Associates conduct investigations, facilitate informal resolutions, do training for campus partners, and otherwise assist in resolving complaints related to sexual misconduct, discrimination, retaliation, and bullying.
