Oregon State University ensures that all employees (including any temporary contracted employees) who perform duties within OSU’s Title IX Investigation and Resolution Process (hereafter “Title IX Team”) receive training that complies with the requirements set forth by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Additionally, OSU requires the Title IX Team to receive annual training that complies with the requirements set forth by Oregon State law.
The Title IX Team has received, and continues to receive, a variety of training and certifications aligned with best practices and in compliance with State and Federal law. Amendments to Title IX went into effect on August 14, 2020, which require, from that date forward, for OSU to make available Title IX training material used to train the Title IX Team. The following are materials used to train individual members of the Title IX Team, including some key Title IX-related training and certifications from before August 14, 2020, as well as Title IX training materials since August 14, 2020.
